Default New England Firearms 12 ga single shot

How can I tell how old this gun is its a New England Firearms Pardner 12ga break down single shot and I know its old just dont know how old. Can anybody help?

Not all THAT old- relatively speaking- but an old design. Company was Harrington & Richardson, later H&R, New England Firearms, NEF, NEF 1871, etc. Probably from about 1970s, but cannot remember the exact date that company added the NEF name to its history.

i know the handguns went from H&R to New England around 1987 or 1988. you could ask the company themselves, i believe they have a code of some sort they use for the factory barrel program. basically "models with this code are this old & we won't do it" kinda thing
