DefaultNeed help identifying my H&R 16 Guage shotgun.

My grandpap recently gave me a 16 guage to go turkey hunting with. After some examination, I discovered that it's a Harrington and Richardson. On the top of the barrel it says "16 GA CHOKE". Behind the trigger guard, it has "38467" stamped into it. Can somebody please tell me what model the gun is or any information on it really?

If you shoot it one time you'll be hooked. I wouldn't trade my 16ga for the world.

Defaultanother H&R 16 guage question...

Hello...I'm a newbie here. I have the same question;
Would like to find info. on my dads old H&R 16ga. Its a single shot/single action shotgun. Production year and aprox. value info. would be nice to know.
Here's all I can tell you;

Top of barrel reads:
"16 ga. choke"

Side etching reads:
TOPPER M48
Harrington Richardson Arms Co.
Worchester, Mass.
Made in USA
Serial #: 12602
