Glad you liked the pics!, yes the guns in the background are Hatsan Escorts sporting range. The cartirdges do look odd in the pics, and I got more of today's reloads (buck & slug). The yellow/oranage ones are just 32G No.4 birdshot (UK size), made by RC in Italy.
I forgot to mention the magazine cut-off witch located on the reciver where the bolt release usually is. This works well with the spare round holder in the stock.
I'm not happy with the slugs I loaded, they are by low recoil data and do not burn the powder fully, not to mention the 8 inch flame that leaves the ejection port on the last round hold open of the bolt. Functions fine though, even with that low pressure.
The '00' (11/0 Italian) buckshots are nickel plated and copper plated.
I agree, but its amazing the difference in culture, as it is extremely rare for someone to suggest that openly on a forum or just in conversation in Britain. Its just not talked about even though the UK has extremely high burglary/home invasion rates (because the crims know that they have little to fear in doing so).
