Mossberg 930 Autoloader
I haven't had a hunting shotgun in 20 years, but I bought the Mossberg 930 Autoloader the other day. It only came with one choke tube (a turkey tube) that can only be shot with lead shot. Here are a couple of questions...
1. Can you shoot the gun without any choke or will that mess up the barrel threads? 2. If it will mess up the barrel threads, what is the least restrictive choke I can put in for shooting things like buckshot and slugs? Thanks for any help you can give me! :) Bob |
No DO NOT SHOOT IT WITHOUT A CHOKE IN IT YOU WILL RUIN THE THREADS!!!! As far as choke the least restrictive choke would be a cylinder or skeet choke but you can go as tight as a modified and be fine
