Default Mossberg 835 mag. failure

This shotgun began on it's own to stop accepting more than one shell at a time into the mag., it'll feed and another shell can be placed into the bottom to load into the mag but those are the max amount of shells it'll hold at once. The plug isn't a different one other than factory. A 2 3/4" shell is loose in the magazine. A spring problem perhaps? Reply appreciated

Take the mag tube spring follower and plug out clean em and reassemble. Sometimes limiter plugs get a little wonky or get broken or bent in the case of plastic and need to be replaced. A wooden dowel rod cut to length of the shell limit you need is good enough. You dont need pricey after market limiters

I have to agree with Jon. Disasemble and clean the mag tube, check components, and reassemble. Best of luck.
Is it better to do the right thing for the wrong reason, or to do the wrong thing for the right reason? If you do the wrong thing for the right reason, is it still the wrong thing?
