Vitsports,
I was looking at that voodoo scabbard. Is there enough room inside for a gun with a fore-end mounted light like mine?

Not with the one I have, Its a tight fit as is.

EDIT...
Is it mounted below or slightly off to the side? If its below, There is a slight chance, I can check with my light tonight if you wish.

Mine is the dedicated surefire fore end. The light is below the mag tube. So top to bottom is where I need the room.

Not going to fit, Sorry
The opening is only 4"
I rubber banded my surefire to the end of my shot gun and I couldn't even get the end in.

VitSports,

Sorry to jump in so late, but I have a 18.5" bbl on my 590A1 and used a forend from ATI.

It fits just fine, and with a 1" picatinny light mount it holds my SureFire G2. You'll need to pop out the retainers on the forend (you'll see when you get it).

LINK from ATI

Thank you sir, DarinCraft was curious if his with the surefire fore end would fit the scabbard or not, Unfortunately it wont, I'm not looking for a fore end, But [I] do appreciate the information.
I am done purchasing gun related items for a little bit.

Hey, TXNorton, that 52682 you bought is the only A1 with the 3-dot sights (versus simple bead and those ghost ring sights). What do you think?

Have you taken it out for its paces yet?

I don't know if this is directed to me or not, But I haven't had a chance to shoot mine, I did like the 3 dot sights over the ghost rings.
I do need to get out to shoot, I was hoping this weekend, But it appears we have another foot of snow on the way...

VitSport: Yes, I meant you, the original poster. Once I hit Reply my memory blanked on your name.

I'm just trying to choose between the 3-dots, which allows for a lower cheek weld, or the ghost rings, which requires a little higher cheek weld. I'm not think greatest accuracy...I'm thinking critical situation. Which would be easier to acquire (or ignore)?

Hard to say, I didn't like how tall the ghost rings were, I do seem to like the 3 dot over the bead though.
I dont see why one couldn't add some of that fancy glow in the dark paint to the 3 dot, But I don't know how it holds up either.
