Mossberg accessories are everywhere. Many parts/accessories are interchangeable between 500, 590, 835, etc. I suggest brownells, midway, or find online and purchase at your LGS. As far as what to put on it....make it your own....a million suggestions but you have to decide what you think you need/will use. I would suggest putting a few hundred rounds through it first..might not need anything except a light (if sd/hd). Good luck and have fun!

I agree. A good light, possibly a side saddle and sling. Those are the main three items I like on my HD shotguns. Much more than that is overdoing it. Just my opinion.

I think you are not getting alot of feedback because a 590 A1 is not the kind of gun you change or hang junk on. Back in the day they would've called such a Cadillac a "pimp-mobile."

I've a Mossberg 590A1. And, yes, Mattshlock is right. Keep it minimal. The power speaks for itself. No need to window-dress it. However, what I do have is a heat-shield, Limbsaver recoil pad, and a sleeve holding 5 extra shells on the buttstock.

Heatshield indicates u knew enough to buy a bead sight barrel -- excellent. The heat shield is manly -- arghhh! Buy gun with the SpeedFeed +4 stock (they're factory) -- it holds four shells in the stock. No recoil pad needed but you'll want an M-7 bayonet for it...
