There is a Mossberg 535 on sale for 299 it comes with a 28inch shot and a 24 inch slug barrel i was wondering if anyone had one if so do you like it? I will be using it for goose Trap and Deer.

I am really glad you asked this question, because I was about to ask the same one. I too am thinking seriously about buying a 535 slugster combo. I know you can chamber the 3 1/2" shells, but I don't think there is a 3 1/2" slug is there? I will probably run sabots. They have 1900FPS and 95% weight retention at 200 yards. I had a 500A when I was younger and sold it for $150. I am sure it will be a great shotgun, but I also would like to hear other peoples stories on it. Thanks!!

So I got the gun took it today and shoot some trap, it is awesome I think it is the same as a 500 with a longer chamber. Once again I love It and would recommend it to anyone.
