Mossberg has had ACCU-CHOKE for a long time. I work at a gun shop, so forget about my OPINION, or anybody elses. Its MATH...Rems come back with problems,..Mossy's don't.

One. Please don't call me a kid. I may be young, but I'm damn sure am not a kid.
Two. If its fact, like I said, please support what you said with a link. You just went back on yourself by saying that I've been told wrong since "Before home computers existed" but won't show a link to prove I've been told wrong, so why should I believe you, a random person on the Internet, over....say my father or grandfather for example? And if you didn't notice earlier in the thread, I didn't recommend either of them. I said Winchester so I'm not sure how I'm a Remington apologist

I have to prove to you, for example, that Mossberg has screw-in choke barrels or they don't exist in your Remington world because you read that on the internet first? Really!? Boy do you have some growing to do!

The funny thing, is I own both. The Remington I have owned since I was 17. 8 years (Yikes) and before that, my dad shot the heck out of it. Never had a problem. I did just buy a Mossberg 590 mariner (used) this spring, and the pin that holds the trigger assembly kept falling out. The little 'V' spring that holds it in place was all it needed fixin' (an idiotic design if you ask me) and now it works as it should. The remington 12 gauge I can handle, the mossberg kicks like they say "a mule". I like them both, and have no problem using either of them to defend myself with.

Usually I have my Galil leaning against the wall in my 2 room 'house'. Only because the threat can come in 800 pound sizes.

Like I said again, I recommended Winchester. I'm a Winchester fan. I said nothing of the chokes, just that you please prove that Remington customer service sends you to Mossberg for barrels. I'm not sure how this has to do with me "growing up"
