Nothing against your choices but I don't see either with their reported problems fixes the OPs shotty. And only causes a problem if not fixed for the next buyer. I hope I never buy a gun form someone that takes your advice.

This pretty much sums it up. Mossberg makes a good shotgun. I have others and like them a lot and don' see a Mossy as the best out there. They have their quirks too but they are a reliable and good performing shotgun.

Heh..I have one of the older 835's that has the weird looking OEM camo painted on it. and I've busted plenty of annoying (mostly flying) animals with it. It busts clays as good as any I've owned to date. I like my 870 better though. But there's nothing wrong with the Mossy.

It didn't damage anything. The kit for my bittstock came with different screws for different models. I used the wrong one

I'll bet Mossberg changed the look so they didn't get confused with Remington.

This is a reminder, don't like someone?

Put them on INGORE.

This is an issue I'm addressing a lot lately, and I will start putting people manually on ignore list if it doesn't stop.

I hope it's only a coincidence that your reminder followed my post.
