I saw a "demo" of the stock at the Shot Show in Feb. The company is pretty quiet about what "exactly" their dual recoil reduction system is, but in the videos they showed, there was two animated springs & you could see that the recoil was indeed reduced. They claim as much as 95%, which I take as a total lie, but there was reduced recoil shown in all their videos.

The main selling point, that they harped over and over and over, ad nauseum, is that with this stock installed on department shotguns, in a diversified workplace, anyone from the office clerk to the lead door kicker on the SWAT team could pick up the same shotgun, extended the collapsible stock ( or compress it in the sake of a smaller person ) and use it effectively.

I personally didn't care for the product - but there wasn't anything particularly wrong with it. There is a gap between the back of the receiver and the sliding butt stock where dirt and crap could collect if you found yourself rolling around the woods, but I don't think it was a serious downpoint. I just didn't care for the product and prefer a more traditional stock on my shotties.

Cool, thanks for the good info.

I also saw a video of it on YouTube. I'm kind of a wuss, so recoil reduction would be a plus.

Any thoughts about whether the Marinecote silver finish is worth an extra $40? I wouldn't be using it on a boat, but it might be nice to know it could hold up better long-term against moisture?
