No personal experience with the site or brand but I've heard Wolff springs are some of the best especially for keeping loaded tubes.

Thanks! I wouldn't have thought of that. As someone who keeps everything "ready" at all times, I need to invest in that spring for the tube and all of my magazines

It sounds like the cartridge stop or cartridge interrupter is broken (parts 22 and 23 in the owners manual) If the carriage is coming down to catch the shells there is no way they can fall through the bottom of the receiver.

Glad I could help, like I said I have no personal exp with it but just did some research after seeing the Wolff springs highly recommended on a 'loaded tube spring' debate from another forum. Definitely report back if / when you get them and try them out.
