Oh gawd... I've had failure to eject issues with this shotgun and sold mine. I'm saving up to actually get a 500. Is it just me? Or is it the workmanship of this boomstick crap.... they should be virtually the same in reliability right?

The 500 and 88 are pretty much the same, and there will always be that 1 out of 10000 that are lemons.
Fte? In a pump shotgun? Either something to do with the extractors or operator error. Too bad you already sold it, woulda been a quick, inexpensive fix.

Must have been the extractors, I've fired 3 other 500s with no problems.

What ammo were you using when you had the FTE's? It wouldn't happen to be winchester would it?
