The slugs I load are 1690 fps in AA hulls , 00 is about 1400 fps in Federal Top Gun hulls

Take a look at ballistic products website www.ballisticproducts.com look up the load section and in the archives is a sabot slug load i've been using last couple years. 2250 fps 500 grain pistol bullet. Switched to the cast lead 50/70 rifle mold lee makes for it last year. Great load.

If you do your part it will take deer at 200 yards. Probably farther but thats where i zeroed at, took mine this year at 178 yards. Clean heart lung shot, the deer didn't run at all.
