Nice. I've owned both the Remington 870 and my newly purchased 590a1. You can't go wrong with a shotgun from either brand. Congrats on your new purchase and safe shooting!

Thanks I'd love to have an 870 to some day. This was my 4th firearm purchase this yr though so the wife probably won't lemme but anything for awhile. the 590 is also a beautiful gun.

Congrats! Looks good, Mossy'S are my favorite, pretty versatile to configure how you like.

Isn't that the truth. Way to many upgrades to look at. Think I'm gonna just start by shooting the hell out of it

A good start! Not that a 500 needs much more, but everyone has a preference on accessories.

Good choice. The 500 was my first shotgun as well. It's been my clay gun, my home defense gun and my JIC gun etc. The 500 has an unlimited amount of aftermarket and factory parts available....it can be whatever you want it to be. Mine is 20 years old, looks and works like the day I bought it.

Looks good. i prefer the 870 myself, but I have had and do have a couple of Mossbergs as well. Not a big fan of the side saddle mounts myself, but to each their own. Shoot the hell out of it and enjoy.
