Default J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co.

I was given a double barrel shot from a friend who was throwing it out after her father died. It's in rough shape, rust, one of the hammers is stuck back, broken butt stock, & no trigger guard.
What I have found so far is that the gun was manufactured from 1912-1915.

Not sure if the photos I attached will come through, but what I want to know is to restore, rebuild, or just get rid of it? I appreciate all help and knowledge given! Thanks

Depends on your level of commitment. To me that looks like an awesome project! I would do a complete restore on it myself. I would be surprised to find out something broken and in pieces is all that valuable.

I would restore it just for something to do(I'm retired). even restored it would have little value.

I came to the conclusion today that I'm going to restore it as close as I can to original. Finding parts maybe a little difficult. Will end up being a wall hanger.
