I need help replacing a hammer
Hi, im trying to replace a hammer on my 20 gauge im haveing trouble with the roll pins but once i get them out what do i do then? Thanks for any and all help. Jordan

A little info on the weapon would go a long way here. Pics wouldn't hurt either.

Roll pins in a shotgun? I don't think so. Should be solid pins. Once the stock is removed you should be able to see what you're doing.

Ok, you're going to need some bubble gum, duct tape, a left handed phillips screwdriver and some grid squares.
Go get them and report back, we'll go from there.

It's going to be impossible to help the poster without more info &/or pics so we can identify the shotgun and how to fix it. The methods for replacing hammers on shotguns vary widely and how you change 1 type is useless to the other kinds.
