I hear good things about carlson tubes. I may give them a try. For turkey chokes whats the difference between extended chokes and non extended?

will shooting a slug threw an extended choke do any harm? i know i can shoot slugs threw as tight as modified i dont think it would matter. I like the extended chokes for the easy changing.

Is that yeah I can use it our yeah my barrel will splinter like a log with a stick of tnt in it?

And I'm sure this won't be the last time I will drop a choke or in this exact case the choke fell of my work bench. I plan on getting a case too, so I have a place to put chokes when I'm not using them. since most cases have spots for 3 to 4 I'm going to order full, mod and cylinder. Also I have a spot for the original. Not like I'm going to use it.

You can shoot slugs through an extended choke.....IMHO I don't think a barrel will split using any choke on accident I shot a slug through a .660 turkey choke once and it was fine it never hurt the barrel or the choke....the lead is so soft that I think it just conforms down to the size of the choke

I'm sure once wouldn't hurt. But I like the added weight the turkey choke gave me. It balanced my gun better. It is stock heavy. I put the gun over my shoulder, is heavier than my back pack from when I was in highschool. X_x

Such an extended choke you feel balances your stock-heavy shotgun better does it...

That's right up there with "I dropped my choke and it put a terrible dent in it."

It didn't make it perfect but the little added weight does make a difference. And with these being stainless steel, they will be heavier than that aluminum one. and will probably withstand a drop.

Guys you're clearly misreading this... he dropped his bench on the choke tube.
