i never just assumed it would work. i did my own tests to assure myself it would work. i also put into place a backup plan. the tube is loaded with #4 birdshot and the mag carrier on the buttstock is loaded with OO buckshot. also with the lower recoil, it allows a faster follow-up shot if needed. this is not a decision i have made foolishly or without much thought. without a doubt, with my prefered choice of ammo, even if i don't kill the BG, i will seriously put a stop to his intentions.

Ya and if they'll blow those big of holes in 2x12's just imagine what they will do to a scum suckin dirtbag mouth breather? I still like the aluminum shims idea though. Especially put of my 870 avenger

Thanks, I cut the barrel myself, I've had it for bout seven months and have yet to shoot it, but with the stock all the way in, its quite compact and points well.
