Default 12 ga.

remington 870, extended tube, surefire foregrip, mesa tactical stock adapter with m-4 collapsible stock + rubber butstock pad, scattergun technologies ghost ring sights zeroed at 50m. ammo? winchester ranger low recoil slugs.
a lot of guys with pistol grips. how are you gonna testify to the grand jury after you shoot someone breaking into your house, let alone shoot what your AIMING AT!!!! because we all aim at what we're shooting at right? and we also took the time to pattern our shots at the range with our chosen home defense ammo of course (for those shooting 00 buck).
All sarcasm aside. i think it's imperitive to have some sort of tactical lighting system on your weapon in order to facilitate positive target identification. following a shooting you will have to answer to people who may not have an understanding of firearms, let alone the constitution. ariticulating the reason behind using a weapon mounted light may help ease the liberal "rambo image" painted by many lawyers.

scott68 is your hogue youth stock and overmolded one? If so where did you find it? I've been looking every where for one for a Mossberg. I read about one being put on a shotgun in an article about VangComp but I just haven't found where to get one.

Thanks

I took all that crap off my shotgun.... lol... I had the pistol grip with folding stock and forward pistol grip. Shot it and took off the forward pistol grip.... shot it again and took off the rear pistol grip.... I even removed that silly folding stock.

Now I have a stock moss 500 pump. well, I did keep the heat shield on the barrel.

It did "look" cool before.... but it functions better now....

lol - I think the only thing that matters in a home defense shotgun is the sound the slide makes when it's being racked - I don't think the BG gives a damn how "cool" it looks...mine never see's the light of day cause other than turkey season, I'm not into shotguns...and unlike handguns I don't think practice matters much...as far as the fancy shell holders go, if you need more shells than your guns tube can hold, you better have a friend that's good at sheetrocking and taping!
