I used to be a dyed inthr wool Rem 870, Ithica 37 or other Pumpshotgun fan, with a turn of fortune, had sold off a lot of my gun collection (A Sad longer story), and I started to replace it, I found a vey good option? Another "Clone", I picked a Norenco Model 372 Pump, it's a clone off the Ithaca Model 37. but has a syntetic stock, Ghost ring sites and a smooth action, out the door, ordered and shiiped to my ffl for under 200$! While not the gun my old 37 was, it was far cheaper, parts do seem to interchange and it's one I can affoard right now? Loaded with a mix of 12Ga slugs, OO Buckhot and # 4 Buckshot, it serves me well! I want to add a sidesaddle to it later, for now, have a cheapie shotgun stock holder with 5 rounds mixed slugs and OO buck!

Does the barrel unthread like the Mod.37? I have a real old 12 ga. Ithaca 37 Featherlight with a long goose barrel and I always wanted the slug barrel, but mine is so old the newer production barrels don't work - different threads from what I've been told. The gun was given to me many years ago and the stock is cracked at the wrist - I can't even find a stock for it - seems no one caters to the Mod.37 anymore. Even Numrich doesn't carry barrels..

I have H&R single shot 12 that I plan to use. However, I still have a few things to buy. I found a kit consisting of a tactical sock and forearm, and I plan on getting a second barrel that I can hack down and rechoke just for the sole purpose of greeting those who welcome themselves into my home. Until then, I will continue to rely onmy .32.

My home defence shotgun is a New England Pardner Pump, 12 gauge. It's basically a riot gun. It's got a short barrel, only 3 inches longer than magazine tube and absolutely no choke. It shoots punkin ball slugs pretty good though. I have a pic of it in my gallery. It's the black shotgun.
