Hey folks! Got some good ol` double-barreled sweety 16 ga, but i don`t know her name . It`s Belgium made, i assume, maybe Bayard, with 750 mm Fluss Stahl Krupp barrel. Forearm is poorly custom manufactured. Here`s some photos:

You may be right, Belgium made (maybe), I knew I had seen that proof mark, it`s a German Proof Mark, here check this out, might help ya............

She's Belgian with German barrels. I can't tell you her name, but I can give your some measurements. She is chambered for 2 3/4' shells with a chamber diameter of 0.736" (tight for a 16 gauge). Her bores are 0.673" right and 0.665" left and she's choked 0.032" right (Full) and 0.024" left (Improved Modified). The barrels weigh 2.52 pounds and she was made in 1950.

The manufacturer could be Dumoulin, who is still in business, Janssen Fils & Cie (1888-about 1956), Anciens Establissements Pieper (1859-mid 1950's) or one of the other Belgian makers, even FN.

The design and the engraving look quite similar to my Zabala 10 gauge, though Zabala is Spanish and you definitely have some German stamping there.

Further research leads me to speculate thats the "EM" marking on the back of the receiver shown in picture 1617 is the Trade Mark of Masquelier Brothers of Liege, Belgium which operated in the period 1911 to 1925.

Masquelier Brothers was the successor of Emile Masquelier (1881-1911), was succeeded in 1925 by Charles Masquelier, and, after several name and management changes now operates under the name Masuqelier & Bury-Donckier.
