DefaultHaving a little trouble with my Mossberg

Went to shoot it for the first time today and ran in to a slight problem. It would only load 2 in the magazine? It wasnt a giant problem as we were just doing a couple targets here and there for fun and it was still 2+1 but I'd really like to know why I couldnt get the other 2 in the mag. All specs say 4+1. It's the plain jane 500.

The gun ships with a dowel in the mag that limits capacity to 2 for hunting. Remove the mag cap and pull it out. There are 2 o rings installed so its a little snug but it will come out.

It has a shell limiting plug in it. It's basically a wooden dowel with two rubber o-rings around it. Take the mag cap and barrel off and turn it up side down and shake to heck out of it. It should come out.
