The chainsaw 500 and the "tacticool" levergun have one thing in common IMHO. I would shoot both of them if a buddy of mine bought one and took it to the range, but I would never buy one. Kinda reminds me of a moped. Fun to ride, but I would never 'fess up to ownership.

One question though, if it is designed to be shot from the hip, why do they bother with a dront sight?

I think you should meet Mossbergs research and marketing department.

Has anyone seen Mossberg's .22 "AR"?

I got to hold one at an LGS, but not for long (got it out of my hands before they were contaminated by such abomination).
I've owned airsoft guns built better. The plastic it was mostly made of felt like that of a garden rake. It rattled and was flimsy. I swear I could've broke it in half. It's not even an AR action, it's a semi auto .22 action with a metal barrel inside a plastic one, and 10 round mags.

Now the same shop had a .22 SCAR knockoff that was pretty cool. I looked it up (I think it was made by USC or somethin?), and it actually wasn't too bad.

The Mossberg 715T .22? I picked one up a few days ago at a gun show. It came with the removable AR handle, rail laser, bipod, and 25 round magazine. $229+ the tax... haven't shot it though...

I wanted one but the salesman at LGS couldn't get it cranked. I don't need a chainsaw that won't start for a demonstration. I have yet to to find the chain oiler on the POS. I would advise you to buy a Poulan.
