I had one and they shoot great. If your going to scope it they make a high comb stock just for scoped guns. If you check your gun at the range for drop and learn your hold you should have no trouble killing deer at 150 yrds., but you will need to have a range finder and practice. I would also recomand a trigger job. Personally I would recomand a fixed 2 1/2 X scope. I shot a deer at 289 yrds. ( lazered) with a muzzle loader and a 2 1/2 X scope. The lower mag. make it alot easier to find moveing targets in the scope. More power is better at the range, but not in the field.
