As Skull just said- old does not mean antique. A firearm is legally an antique if made prior to 1-1-1899, or if it uses loose powder and ball, no matter when made (exception for certain guns that convert from muzzleloader to modern ammo). There is a separate legal category called Curio & Relic (50 yrs old in most caes) but that still requires a FFL.

i dont know where you are but in east tn they are selling in various guages for 117 at wal-mart brand new
