Default H&r pardner pump

I own a h&r pardner pump 20 gauge, and I want to put a tactical stock on it. I cannot find any stocks for this shotgun but I have read that the stocks from the Remington 870 will fit this gun. I am wondering if anyone on here has put one of the 870 stocks on this gun. Also does the gauge matter on the stock?

My buddy has one, and I own one as well (it my wifes) Ours is stock as we are hunters and she hunts and shoots trap with it, My buddy put a tacticool stock on his I believe it was a knoxx? with a pistol grip on it, it was for a remington 870, which I happen to own as well, and it went right on my 870 and then on his H&R, I dont believe that the gauge matters when it comes to the stock. Hope this helps, any other questions just let me know.

Remington 870 FAQ | The Shooter's Log

about half way down the page it says about the stocks, good tips on that whole page on accessories for the 870, maybe one day I will build me a taticool shotgun but I own four shotguns, the wifes pardner pump, I have a H&R topper jr 20 ga single shot that I inherited from her late father, which is becoming my favorite squirrel gun and will one day be passed down so there is no way im modding it, we use the pardner pump and my 870 to hunt all sorts of things from squirrels and rabbits to dove etc..., and I have a mossberg 500 slugmaster that was inherited from my great great uncle and that is my deer gun and it is a tack driver, And besides thats why I bought my bushmaster AR, so if I wanna go crazy modding a gun.

Yeah that has some good info on it. I bought this gun for a combo. I wanted it for a home defense weapon and hunting. So I want to put a folding stock on it so it can be used as home defense. Also be able to fold the stock (or reattach) and go hunting. I just want something short for the home defense part.

I totally think if i was gonna do one I would put a folding stock, or even the pistol grip like on the turkey special 870, that way it would work for both ways, but I may get me another one do just the hd gun treatment on that one, I like the way they look with the pistol grip and the heatshields, and when the mag tube is the length of the barrel, maybe some day. The wife and I took both our nefs out this morning and got some squirrels with them, pardner pump worked flawlessly as did my H&R single shot 20ga.

Well want a pistol grip either way. But I seriously thought about the folding stocks but all the ones I looked at had mixed reviews of them. I just bought a collapsable/ removable stock with a pistol grip. So it can be a pistol grip or a collapsable stock shotgun. It was a hood price too $59.

Congrats on the squirrels.

Post up some pictures when you get it all together. Have you put a sling on yours yet, and if so how did you do it?
