Default H&R Pardner Pump 12 gauge

I have a h&r pardner pump and every time I shoot and go to reload another round it doesn't load. I have to push the lever that holds the shells in the tube to release a round.
If anybody can tell me what to do to resolve this problem it would be apprecited much.
Thank y'all

If you bought it during the sale at Walmart this summer it's still under warranty.

I have a Remington 870. Most pump shotguns use the same methods of operation. Don't be scared to take it apart. Do it slowly so you can put it back together. If you just look every thing over it will probably be a jammed up shell release. This is what allows your shell to come out when the action is opened.
