Default Which gun?

I'm currently looking to purchase a new shotgun and want advice/experienced knowledge of these guns. Looking to purchase a gun for turkey, and possibly waterfowl hunting. I've been looking at the benneli supernova and the stoeger m3000.I want actual experience with these guns no bs. Wanna know what's good and bad.also wanting to know opinion on the pistol grip stock offered by benneli and if anybody has or had one and how they felt about it. Other gun options will be considered also thanx guys.also curious as too recoil and does the comfor tech stock on the supernova really help. I've previous used a rem 870 for turkey ik they r a reliable pump that's been time proven just looking to mix up the breeds in gun cabinet

OK I will comment on this, the two shotguns you mentioned, my opinion NOT enough shotgun for the money........I say stay with the Rem. 870 or a Mossberg 500 or one of the Savage models, more shotgun for the money..............

I have the nova,my buddy has the super, I've shot it often when we first got them, unless i was shooting competition the nova is my choice for cost. Down side,it's black no wood character no soul lol. Positive, light, smooth action.

My opinion, pistol grip on a shotgun is uncomfortable on recoil.

The stoeger is semiauto right? Never heard a complaint about them. The Nova I have shot. I didn't like it. The front bead is huge and it shoots high I think. The one I shot did anyways. Plus they are plasticy. I have never liked them. Look at the Escort line of shotguns. Cal ranch has them for around $350 for a 28 inch barrel, 3 inch semi auto action. Black synthetic, sling ready, fiber optic bead, chromoly barrel. I've shot the youth 20 gauge and for the money I think its a winner.

I've got a 12 gauge Mossberg 500. Unless you are really big,

or a recoil junkie, you may want to avoid it. I like mine,

but I can't honestly recommend it to others. Kicks like

a mule.

I hear good things about Benelli.

I don't find my Mossberg 500 to be that much different in recoil than my 870. I like both. A buddy has a super nova and likes it a lot for duck hunting.
