I have the FN Herstal Self Loading Police Shotgun in .12ga. Pictures in my gallery. I love this gun, it works with whatever I feed it and doesn't punish on recoil. Very nice and well put together.

Winchester was debuting their new Super X3 at SHOT in Feb - this monster is the fastest self loading shotgun in the world at the moment ( mathematically estimated at 457 rounds per minute ), but at what a price.

While I would agree that the M3 is a nice weapon, and it WAS the world's fastest firing, that title has been taken by the folks at Winchester with the advent of their Super X3 platform. Winchester has had the title for at least one year, and I suspect, two since the X3 platform was out in '06.

The Bennelli does not work well with light field loads. It is recoil operated and more punishing than a gas operated gun.

The Remington 11-87 is a superb shotgun with a self adjusting/regulating gas system that works with a wide variety of ammo.

I have a Saiga that is reliable to the extreme, feeds and fires ANYTHING. Very fast shooting. See pics Name: saiga.jpg

I used to have a Saiga 7.62x39 and foolishly sold it. I forgot they make a 12 guauge along with several other rifle rounds. I didn't realize they made a high cap magazine for the 12 guauge. How many rounds does it hold and where did you find that mag? I just might be in the market for a new Saiga.

Mag capacity is 10 rounds. It holds and feeds 2 3/4 or 3" rounds with equal reliability. Synthetic body w/steel feed lips just lke the Ruskie mags. US made. AGP out of Arizona. http://www.agparms.com/

457 rounds per minute is a .13 second split. Lots of shotguns will do .13's
Benelli M1S90, Remington 1100, Winchester SX2, even the old Browning A5.

When you get down around .11 things start going sideways. Patrick Kelley
did an article in Front Sight magazine in 2007? on the various platforms.
I'll see if I can dig it out later. Fastest at that time? Winchester SX2.

I've had good luck with this Bennelli so far..............

No issues to date, and I've had it since 1993. Picked it up at a gunshow (used but in great shape)

I dont shoot alot of light loads thru it however, but the few boxes I have put thru it all cycled well.

robocop10mm : That Saiga looks sweet. Thanks for sharing the pic.
