I'm thinking of taking along my Win 1300 Ranger with Deer Slug barrel to see about trading/selling it. It is a smooth barrel and has been replaced by a H&R Ultra Slug. The wood and blueing is in very good to excellent condition. Just the tiniest of nicks in the stock. Almost unnoticable unless you're really looking.

What would be a fair asking price? I was thinking $200 for sale and would trade value be higher or lower?

The other option I was considering for the gun would be to find a rifled barrel and put it back into use as a deer gun.

What would you be aking if it were yours?

I paid $200 for mine with smooth bore and bead. I'd ask $250, you can always come down but you can never go up.

Makes sense. I've never traded/sold a gun, so I am new to it.

If you get more than $175 I'll be very surprised. Just my opinion.

$175 and I'll keep the gun and look to buy a rifled slug barrel or set it up with a tactical stock.

Well the Win 1300 plus some cash turned into a S&W M&P 15-22. My 10 year old is very excited and we'll probably go shoot it tomorrow afternoon. This makes 8 .22s in the collection.
