Default Ghost Loading

Pretty new to this concept. Theres not a whole bunch of information online about it. I have a few simple questions.

Can you only Ghost load semi autos? Or does it just come down to some semi's? I have only seen a mossberg SPX and Benelli M4 being ghost loaded.

Will depend on operation of the shell lifter. To be honest, never tried that- would be concerned about bolt coming to the rear over the ghost loaded shell, and ripping rim off.
