Here is the first set of pics for the Mossberg 590 Mariner "Special Service" (8 shell magazine +1). I chose the Mossberg over the Remington due to quality of parts and the location of the safety. Please fill free to post pictures of the engineering of your shotguns.

Here are previous picture threads...

My next picture thread will be a CZ-550 synthetic .308 made in the Czech Republic with German stamping.

Sweet. I don't think there's a better gun of its type on the market.

Isn't it an 8+1 gun or are you using/it handles shorter than 2-3/4" shells?

The holographic sight is a Sight Mark. It has done very well with accuracy when shooting slugs on longer shots. For a cheaper sight, it has continued to hold zero even with the magnum rounds I have shot through it. The mount is a UTG. The fiber optic sight is a TruGlo. I can still easily use the fiber optic even when the Sight Mark is attached. Not interested in a tactical stock. The standard stock on it is very good, and the length fits me like a glove. I do not like a side shell holder, nor a stock shell holder, because it gets in the way of my shooting.

Thanks. I made a typo. I can have 8 + 1 shells with 12/70 (2-3/4"), and 7 +1 shells with 12/76 (3").

Well I believe they are. AND, Herr Bloomburg believes them to be equally deadly

That's the shotgun I want from Mossberg, except I want it with a pistol grip attached to the stock.:)
