Fnh customer service is awful!
I recently purchased an FNH SLP TACTICAL model shotgun. It came from the factory with 3 different sized comb inserts that are plastic and rubber. When I installed the largest of the 3 I saw that it was warped and did not fit uniformly.
I made 2 attempts to contact customer service. Both times I was put on hold for over 5 minutes with no assistance. I waited and called again 2 hrs later. I was transferred to the "parts department".
After clearly describing the model of shotgun I had bought and clearly describing the specific part that was defective, the parts guy said, "we don't sell that part. Do you have an M-16 stock?" When I politely told him that the defective part was a "stock" item that came from the factory he insinuated that the defective piece was part of an after market stock I had bought from another company!
He then said that he would "try to find somebody else with FNH who might know if a new comb insert could be located." He took my name and phone number and assured me that he would call me back "shortly." He never called back.
When I called back about 24 hrs later no one could locate any record of my previous call!! When I asked to speak with someone in "parts" I was told that no one was available.
Considering the cost of this shotgun, I'm disgusted with the terrible customer service I've had with FNH!!
Today I'll be making another call to speak with someone in management. Let's see what happens next.
Just got off the phone with an FNH customer service supervisor. Within 1 minute he had the new comb insert ready to send me. He also apologized for the way this was handled by the parts guy.
I guess the guy I spoke with in parts was just a fluke.
My faith in FNH customer service is restored.
Glad to hear it, that was an awesome gun it would be bad to hear something was wrong with it that FNH wouldn't fix.
