Default First shotgun and new home defense weapon

Just picked this up today. Mossberg 500 tactical 6 shot used for $400. Love the adjustable stock!

Scatter guns are made for shot. Slugs and bird shot are for hunting. Get some buckshot.

If your apartment is connected to others. I would keep it loaded with bird shot for HD to minimize over penetration.
Of course I would keep an assortment of 00 Buck and slugs on hand for "emergencies". Many to chose from I prefer Federal Tactical for both.

#2`s or 4`s, that way you don`t have to worry (much) about the shot going through walls....................

When u can buy a case (10 boxes/250 rounds) of Remington #2 Shot (.12 caliber pellets). Never defend yourself with less than #2 Shot if you have any choice.

That's a little high for the shells here in southern Ohio they average out to about .90 cents a shell
