filler screw size??

Default filler screw size??

i have a h&r pardner pump, while cleaning i noticed on top of my receiver that one of the screws were gone that fill the holes for the scope base. what size are the screws, i would like to get a few to have on hand. thanks

on most guns it is 6-48. a few are 8-40.

A set of filler screws can't cost that much. The screws can be shipped in a regular letter envelope. Why not just order a set of screws from H&R? You will likely spend more on gas trying to find the screws locally.
