I have several different brands, but in the end still use my Mossberg 500 the most. It's the little things that I like about it, and keep me coming back to it time after time. It's just what works for me.

I've got a maverick model 80 20g with a 28" barrel for $200. It out shots my friends side by side 12g all day. I've droped it in mud and had alot of dirt in the bolt and it still worked perfectly. No problems with it at all. Most people say 20g ain't much but to me it does just as much as the 12 gauge. And there's alot of accecories that are easy to find everywhere. So in my opinion this is one of the best values

I completely agree that the Berettas are smoother. I've had three of them. Smooth did me NO good when they did not go bang. Reliability during tens of thousands of rounds is the only reason I prefer Benelli. I tried very hard to be confident in the 391s. They just let me down.

It is a great shotgun. You really do get a lot of gun for the price and I have no problems recommending these to people.

I'm a big fan of Remington shotguns. I love the 870 express, and I am wanting to eventually get a model 11.

870... Hands down. Many a scattergun have came and went but not this girl. I just swap barrels and out we go.

I have owned a Benelli Nova pump and a Belgian made Auto 5 and traded them both in for a Benelli M4 (plus some extra cash out of my pocket). It is more shotgun fun than one should have. I had to put more $ into it to make it US part compliant so I could replace the factory 5 round tube with a 7 round one. I have never had a failure with it shooting birdshot to slugs.
The Benelli M2's are used as entry guns for every police tactical team I have ever worked on or with. Although it is the short barreled configuration.

They are right! One of the best all around shotguns with our a doubt is the Remington 870 Shotgun Standard and Magnum Model!
I have several but all around the 870 is far more versatile! Do not get me wrong there are a lot of nice shotguns, I have some. But the test of time goes to the 870!
