I am looking to buy my first shotgun and am looking for something that can be used for both deer and duck hunting. I am going to get a 12 gauge but I am open to either pump or semi-auto shotguns. I am looking for something under $500 that has interchangeable threaded smooth bore barrels and fully rifled barrels for sabot slugs. I have looked at the Mossberg 500 and the Remington 870 but I was wondering if there was anything else to consider. Thanks

The Winchesters are beautiful shotguns, but are too far out of my price range ($1000 and up). I'm really looking at the Mossberg 500 marinecote because it's cheaper than the Remington. does anybody now a good price for a new mossy?Thanks for your feedback though RyanG23!
