You have to decide for your self what the purpose for this shotgun is? This shotgun will be fine if you are the occasional hunter. But if sport shooting like Trap or skeet where you will be pounding 200 rds a weekend on the field or the heavy duck and goose hunter pounding out magnum steel shot. You may elect a different shotgun just from the maintenance stand point. Getting parts may not be as simply as say for Remington or Mosserg, and 20 years from now you be in the same boat as some of my customers are in who try and revamp their older Savage/Stevens or J.C. Higgins where the parts are not readily available. And making a part for them isnt in their budget.
