Default Coachgun??

Don't know if this has been covered before,
couldn't find it with search.
Those familiar with the Turner stores,
they are selling a 12ga. double trigger, S/S called, Coachgun.
My friend was looking it over and thinking of buying one.
I played with it a few minutes,
it seemed nice and tight.
Any opinions?

Did not pay attention to the maker.

My buddy had a coach gun, side by side 12 ga. Shot it once touching off both barrels and nearly tore my thumb off. Then he did it....Sold it a few months later and bought a nice Ruger 9mm pistol.

I have a Stoeger 12 ga hammerless Coach Gun, blued. polished the chambers so the shells fall out by gravity. Automatic safety sets when the barrels are closed. Everyone that shoots it wants it. Great for Cowboy Action Shooting. I'd buy it again....

I've thought I'd like to have a coach gun for quite a while. A coach gun with hammers would be a big plus. I don't know of anyone making one with hammers right now. Anyone have a bead on a manufacturer.

Back in 1998 when stationed in Japan I had the ability to purchased some very sweet 12ga. (side-by-sides, over-and-unders, single) for damn near nothing. Some of these are worth a pretty penny, engraved stock and kept perfect. As we say, that was history! I love to get a coachgun for some skeet shooting; but, that is on the list for down the road.

ScottA....Check out Centerfire... Aim...SOG and a few others. These doubles go for about $229 or so. Mine is below. Working hammers and a thumb safety.
