Clay target shooting

Default Clay target shooting

Hi guys, newbie from Oz here.. Just wondering if any of you are in to clay target shooting..??? I've been doing it for a few months now using a beretta silver pigeon and absolutely love it...

Used to do more of it, but I've slowly fallen away for some reason. Prob should pick it up again though since shells are still not to hard to find.

We're actually planning a meet Oct. 5th. All the slots are full right now though. This will be the second meet though, and we're likely going to have more.

Just went with 2 of my buddies and my girl 2day. Between the 4 of us we shot 1100 rounds. 12ga 10ga 410ga. Out of the 12boxes of 90 clays id say we it 80% of them. I love shooting but my sholder is now red mush. hahahahaha

My local range has a machine that simulates a running rabbit. It uses clay targets that that roll along the ground at high speeds. The ground has bumps on it, which makes it a challenge. I hardly miss anymore. Well, there was this one time when a fine looking lady was shooting shooting skeet next to the running rabbit. Of course, she caught my attention...I totally missed the rabbit..... Well look at the bright side, at least I wasn't driving.
