I am an OTR truck driver and stay out for at least a month at a time which makes "handling my business" difficult sometimes but after several positive reviews on the Hawk 982 I decided it would make a good HD shotgun. I bought it and the thing will not even take/feed a shell. CTD says on their site that all sales are final, no returns. If I want to do anything about it I have to pay and ship the thing from Ga to Oregon to have the IA gunsmith look at it. What a crock! If you send me a piece of crap that WILL NOT EVEN FIRE , how can you say all sales are final!? Never using CTD again.... forgive me Bud's, I should've known better.

i am aware of the warranty... not the point... interstate or ctd should replace this with a NEW AND WORKING shotgun... that's what was advertised, that's what i bought, that's what i want... not a car that been wrecked but repaired... a new car... if I had had this for a while and had been shooting it, yeah repair it... but right out of the gate broken and never fired... that's a replace not repair...

That's why they have "all sales are final". With the Hawk and other cheaper guns that don't have a lifetime warranty on a future purchase of a similar type of gun I would suggest buying them from someone who gets them from the distributor Davidsons. Davidsons has the no questions asked lifetime warranty and with cheaper guns they are worth the couple of extra bucks for the warranty. But as others stated definitely call the manufacturer.

Cheaper Than Dirt has always been a POS business.
I've always wanted to know how much they're paying for their dirt,because it is some very expensive soil!

I will not shop there,even if they are the only place that has an item that I want/need in stock.I'll just wait for some place else to get it in.

I have bought a LOT of ammo and a few other things from CTD and I have been completely satisfied. Got the best prices by far on some tungsten alloy shells. They are up front about their policies and conditions. Read first and save pain later.

I probably wouldn't buy any gun online, but that just my personal reservations about the internet. Places like CTD just worry me when there is NO RETURNS. I like going into a local shop to purchase anyway.
