Default Shotguns

I have found the Balkan shotguns that are imported are very well made and shoot just fine. I ordered a 12 ga s/s and it is fun to shoot. (meaning it hits every time I do my part)

Exactly... the correct way to demonstrate the capability of the weapon...also a good way to check your recoil sensitivity...

I used to sight my dad's model 37 over the hood of a station wagon on a sandbag. Ouch. Even offhand..ouch with a slug.

I like my mosin nagants and my toz 122 they shoot fine. the toz has a nice trigger too. where else can you get a 308 for 299 dollars with a good trigger and scope rings. If I remember history right russian tanks (T34) were kickin ass and taking names in WWII. I'll take rugged and reliable over pretty anyday when it comes to weapons.

Now I thought shooting slugs out of a SxS was a no-no. Something about stressing the solder.

I use low recoil slug with my short-barrel baïkal ... Something like 320 meters per second velocity ...

Default TruLock chokes:

By the way TruLock chokes makes everything from .640" turkey to .730" cylinder chokes for Baïkal shotguns:

Trulock Chokes - choke tubes for mossberg, remington, winchester, beretta, benelli products, and other brands

Whether under the Spartan or Baikal label these shotguns have standard American rather than undersized European bore diameters.

Several hunters I know use these with Federal Premium 3.5" 00B (eighteen .325" copper plated pellets) or Dixie Tri-Ball 3.5" (three .60" hard cast pellets @ 1100 fps) - DixieSlugs Home - for thick cover deer and feral hog hunting here on the Gulf Coast and none have complained about reliability or non-centered pattern problems.

Now that the Baikals are available again, I am hoping to pick one of the SxS guns up for Cowboy Action Shooting. For the price and the durability they are known for, it sounds like just the thing to get banged around.

Much better choice than my Parker repro.
