There is a rash of youtube videos of morons shooting guns underwater. Despite the fact that bullets will only travel inches through water, the latest craze of the young and dumb is having a gun that shoots underwater...

Look, the things you would be concerned about is if a gas tube exploded which it would if there was one. A pump action shotgun doesn't have a gas tube but the pressures are multiplied underwater. You most likely could shoot a pump action underwater but I would stay away from high brass and magnum loads.
