Although it is definitely feasible for me to face a BG with backup. If I've arrested them, or they were around me when I worked at the county jail, they probably know better than to come around my house alone.

Maybe so Axxe,..but different folks have different ideas of what a situation may/might unfold. Some practice certain ones more then others. One my Wife and I practice is coming home to a Broken In House and the Dog Barking out his lungs! We've done this one with three different responses....

Ya and its not a matter of if but a matter of when. I'm not saying it will happen tomorrow or anything but it will happen.

well, people can either live life or worry about every possible "what if" and be miserable.

me, i take the best preparations i can get and try and go about my life in a normal manner. i am not going to waste time worrying about every little "what if" scenario that might happen once in a million. life is short enough and i plan on enjoying it as best i can.

i totally believe in when it's my turn to go, all those "what ifs" are pretty much irrelevent and weren't worrying about in the first place.

Not always. After the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake there was very, very little looting, and this includes in San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and other cities known for high crime rates. In the outlying areas there was none.
