Nither one for HD.

Can`t use Buckshot on deer in Missouri.

I don`t shoot Coyotes.

That`s my two cents !!!!!

Neither for deer. Slugs for deer.

For me, 00 for HD. I am not concerned about overpenetration as my wife and I are alone in the house and neighbors are not close.

Coyotes? #4 buck is good.

HD ammo selection depends on your situation. In an apartment or with kids in the house, #4 shot would be my choice. Rual setting or typical suburbia, 00 buck.

Shot isn't legal for deer in Indiana.
