I met two guys last year in SD that were using Silvers. They went bang every time they sgueezed the trigger. Good looking shotgun.

I think you would be happy with the gun, but can't make a definitive call on the price. Is the price you quoted from Bud's?

I have a browning grade 4 over under 12 gauge engraved by Felix Funkin that my grandpa won as a trophy a LONG time ago in Belgium that is all nickel finished think they would be a nice set.

Absolutely.

I think $941 + transfer is competitive. Ask a local gun shop or two how close they can get, you might be surprised. Personally, I'll pay a few extra bucks from the LGS just so they will help me when I need a favor.

Never shot a silver, but I have shot a lot of browning guns. Personally I would save up a little more and get the new A5. But it's a Browning, you can buy one browning and it'll last multiple lifetimes. I've never really seen any problems with any Browning shotguns. I love 'em.
