Default Browning Double Auto

Anyone use it to dove hunt?...I have one ,that is a dove gitter!....last of the recoil shotguns..

Actually the Franchi AL48 is still in production. I shall refrain from comment other than to say I am glad you like it and may you enjoy it in good health.

LGS had a Double Auto not long ago. Cool rig.
Alas, I live for the dove triple.

ahhh...the double kicker...i mean double auto.
great gun to carry. tough gun to shoot with so much recoil.
post some pics of it and i'll tell you all about it.

They are noted for cracked receivers. I do not know how those that exhibited such were treated. I do know that the biggest enemy of ANY semi auto is the nut on the back of the stock.

in all the da guns ive owned, i never saw a cracked receiver. but i have seen split f.arms and split stocks in the grip.
they are hunters dreams because theyare so light to carry, but man when you light it off, it kicks.

...only the "alloy" ones...I have a steel one,and have shot mag loads duck hunting...mine is the rnd knob model...I have no understanding about the "kick"!....after shooting an A5 ,it felt like a rubber band gun......I have shot many quail and doves using only one hand(showing off)

id take a a5 kick over a d.a anyday!
