POSSIBLE you have what Browning called a "Buck Special". Most A-5s did not have a rear sight. There are several bits to that rear sight- you may want to go to their website and contact Browning custmer service.
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.

The amount it's worth will depend on whether it is made in Belgium or not but either way it's still a great weapon!!

Unfortunately it is a newer made in Japan version from the late 70s. I believe from what I've seen it is a buck special. I found the adjustable rear sight and wow is it pricey
