I like bolt action shotguns. I can't ever find any for sale in my area.

My first shotgun years ago was a bolt action. It has been gone for 50 years. I still hate it.
I still have my first, and I stil love it. Viginian nailed it on the pros and cons. All of mine are ugly, but hey, they match their owner.

410 BORE 3-SHOT 3" CHAMBER MOUNTED WITH TASCO RED DOT SCOPE

this makes an excellent deer gun where rifles are not allowed.

Browning also makes a bolt action shotgun, which has a good reputation but it is far more expensive than the Savage.

I read a couple posts about shooting at birds with bolt shotguns. They are designed for hunting deer when/where rifles are not allowed.
